The UDs (at least in the US) are just gg. This has been verified through
breeding. I dunno about the British ones...
Since I guess you haven't heard, I'll explain.. I have a "UD siamese"
girl from one of the original pairs' first litters. She was bred to a
PEW (from regular US lines, no chance of gg being introduced at all as
it wasn't here yet) and produced DTW's and siamese. One of these DTW's
bred to an argente from my grey agouti spot x argente pair produced a
grey agouti, I think it was. Several similar crosses of pups from both
Dana (my original "UD siamese") and my "UD siamese" boy also produced gg
animals. it's extra nice because my UD siamese (really LCP slate) boy is
paired to a LCP nutmeg, so I have plenty of burmese & siamese pups that
can throw polar fox. (Anyone looking for one?)
Rebecca are you the one getting some gerbils from Lisa Harrell? As she
probably told you a lot of her gerbs came primarily from me. Her CP
slate boy is a full brother to my Ashwin (LCP slate), they were both
bred by Kate Potter.
