In the past, I have used a rectangular shaped bakers rack from Wal-Mart. I
think I paid less that 5 dollars for it.
I had to bend one end of it so it could stand upright in the tank. I had it
dividing a ten gallon tank across the middle.
By bending it, it left a gap at the top. It didn't meet flush with the
screen lid. To fill in this gap, I use a piece of plastic strip that I
anchored across the tank with Silicon.
The plastic strip was cut from the plastic boarders for posters. This was
also bought from Wal-Mart in the same area as the big poster display. I have
also thought about using the plastic boarders to cover the edges of screens.
This plastic strip is wide enough to fill in the gap between the bakers rack
and the screen lid.
**Caution! Be sure your ten gallon tank is wide enough to fit the bakers
rack across the middle. It worked great in one 10 gallon tank, but the next
10 gallon tank I tried it in must have been a bit narrower causing the tank
to shatter.
If I can get this set up again, I will post pictures of it on my website.
Not sure when though.
