Horrible news.... I had a female Polar fox and a male DTW in split cage for
about a week, and they had started to calm down a bit. At first all the
female could think about was killing the DTW. I come home from running
errands to find that the Polar fox had forced her way into the DTW's side,
and he was in a toilet paper tube hiding from her. She was acting normal,
but he wasn't. He's beat up badly, and when I picked him up to rescue him, i
noticed his hind right foot dangling. There wasn't any blood on the break,
but he was bleeding elsewhere. I don't know what to do. Should I euthanize
him? I can't afford a veterinarian right now, I have a deposit to pay for an
apartment. I feel bad, I don't know what to do. He's sqeaking loudly right
now. He's in his own compartment again. :( Thanks.
