Hanna and Jo-Jo's three oldest pups are on their own now. I have read
that there are sometimes problems with pups when they are first taken from the
parents. So far they are doing fine. The only thing that I did
notice last night was that their fur looked a little greeser than normal.
I thought that they might not be grooming themselves well enough. They are
active and eating.
1. What should I watch for?
2. If the pups do start having problems how much Tetracycline would I
add to their water? (The bottle holds 8oz.) PLEASE NOTE: I did buy
some antibiotics from the nearest pet store last time I was there. All
they had was "Tetracycline Antibiotic Capsules" "Freshwater Formula A
1-H, Specific for Livebearers and Goldfish." (they had none for
birds) The capsules are 250 mg, and it says to add 1 to each
10 NET gallons of aquarium water.
Thank you,
Janet
