I have several cheap t-shirts I wear specifically for gerbil handling. I
change shirts between each tank and wash my hands. I don't
worry about the shirt changing with my 'single' tanks though, just
the pairs. The singles seem to enjoy sniffing the other gerbil
smells on me, and since there's nobody for them to fight with, why
not let them? :)
