I woke up this morning to discover that my gerbils had a fight
overnight. This is the second time they've fought. Last time, I
separated them for a while and then put them back together. I watched
them carefully and they were fine. Then last night they fought again
and today I did the same thing (separated them then put them back
together). I'm watching them closely like last time, and again they
seem to be getting along fine, even sleeping together. Do you think
this fighting will be an ongoing ordeal? They seem to fight only at
night, so would it be possible to separate them at night and then put
them back together during the day when they can be watched? I would
rather not have to permanently separate them, as these are my only 2
gerbils and I wouldn't have anyone else to try to pair them up with, but
I will if I have to. What does everyone think I should do with these
