Well, I bought them from a petstore, so I don't know their exact ages,
but they were extremely small when I bought them, and that was this past
August. I think they're both female (I'm horrible at telling gender and
so was the person at the petstore) but they're definitely same-sex, as
we haven't had any pups yet. There were very visible injuries on Mel
the pied, but it was hard to tell with Hershey who is black. There
wasn't any blood (at least that I could see) on the bedding but there
were a few small spots on the last sheet that was clinging to a tp
roll. They both have bites to the face/neck area, I didn't notice any
on their tails. I did notice that before this fight, like the last one,
they were chasing each other around with one trying to mount the other.
I figured it was some dominance issue they were trying to work out.
Could they be fighting because neither one wants to be the "submissive"
one of the pair? What could I use to make a divider? I have to admit
I'm not really the DIY type.
