Yes, I agree it sounds like a dominance issue- probably neither one is
willing to accept the submissive role. I had a similar situation with 2
females but they were of different ages and sizes- I can't even count how
many times I put the divider in and took it out.
I made my divider from hardware cloth I purchased at Home Depot and duct
tape. It was a pain to take out and put back because it was taped in place.
I have heard of other using things like grated shelves from a refrigerator
that are self-supporting so they may be easier to take out and remove.
Anyone else have suggestions for an easily removable divider?
