I have seen several babygerbils tangled up in the "safe"
hamster bedding at a pet store last year.
They hadn't even noticed and were horrified to discover it.
The pups had to be cut out with scissors and I'm not
convinced they all survived. They looked pretty bad :(
I bought some info printed form the net to them and told
them not to use this bedding.
They didn't for a while, but it's a bad pet store with
employees changing all the time and they still sell the
bedding to their customers.
Actually, all the local pet stores in my area sell it.
