is it posible that a gerbil has no hair on his tail??

mine have a little bit of hair on there tails but it isn't completely
covored with hair.
is this normal

also the haid of my gerbils is mutch more pointy.
do I have a other kind of gerbils???
they were sold to me as gerbils!
