I have to agree with this...I don't have the safari cage but I do have the "Villa" (we have it attached to another cage that is about 2 feet across, 3 feet long and a foot deep (with 2 levels) and Foxy and Jaws have been there for a while now and they love it. They haven't chewed it up or anything! And the wheel was better than anything else on the market (I liked it so much that I got the wheel from the safari kit for the other gerbils!) And the only time I have a problem with chewing is when they don't have anything else to chew on.....as long as they have their cardboard and TP rolls they are happy!
