Breeding Trio ?

I have a question in reference to a breeding trio.  I have heard a few
members mention using breeding trios.  Mother, father, and a son for
example. From what I understand they are left together all the time, and
live in peace...

Has anyone on the list done this?  Is so how did it turn out?  I was also
wondering if the female would breed with both males, or only the dominant
one.
