Leuchars is about 5 miles away and we are at the top of a hill. Maybe they've been up to something. They have lots of interesting kit. If so, I may not see the problem again as Biggles has now moved out of the base to make way for squaddies. Your mentioning the possibility of RF interference made me realise that what I should have done is do some RF scans when the problem was occurring. Its an advantage here that when it happens I can predict to within a few mins each day when it will crop up. I've got a 'FUNCube pro plus' SDR and wrote some spectral scanning programs for it. I could get that running and see if something pops up at the relevant times. With luck I won't get the problem again. But if I do, I'll give it a try.
