Charles, if you're just gonna site here and say "go understand it" he isn't going to. You got to make him understand it.
What you did wrong was this: You tried to assign a picture to a graphics (p.graphics=Canvas1.Backdrop) You need to assign a picture to a picture (p=Canvas1.Backdrop) Or draw the picture on the graphics, but thats not smart in this case ( p.Graphics.DrawPicture Canvas1.Backdrop,0,0) And if you don't use backdrop, but draw to the canvas itself, you should first draw to a picture and then draw that picture on the canvas.
