Thanks very much. I had not considered the keydown option. On a
Mac, Page-Down opens a combo box when it has focus.

Not sure that helps, but it could at least be a start--if you can
figure out
how to simulate key presses. I'm pretty sure simulating key
presses can be
done with declares.
