Try "make install" which should build the gforth.fi image, that includes all that you are missing.

Please, somebody help me along.
I downloaded http://www.complang.tuwien.ac.at/anton/tmp/gforth-0.6.1.bin.i686-pc-cygwin.zip
and am able to run the executables in that package with something like
gforth-fast -i kernl32l.fi
However, these gforths don't have asm or disasm loaded and use weird paths (windows-speakingwise that is). There doesn't seem to be any, or only the barest minimum of, error handling and this is driving me nuts:
s" cd C:\Program Files\gforth\gforth-0.6.1\arch\386" system error -13
(is this all because "path handling is broken?")
Also, no history or decent keyboard handling. When I type "words" the screen scrolls like mad and can't be stopped, let alone read :-)
I guess a customization phase is to be inserted between downloading and running. A tiny pointer please?
