Where did you get you're ghdl source, and what revision is it? Brian has build ghdl against gcc-4.8.2 on Linux and I have built a gcc front end version against gcc-4.8.2 on OS X 10.9, using the repository for ghdl-updates on SourceForge, there are build instructions there for both. The SourceForge repository hasn't had it's first release quite yet. I'd suggest using it to report any bugs. The list of bugs fixed in gcc-4.8.2 is too large for me to casually make a statement of the likelihood of you're success.
