Good. > I had better read in the README. > > Question 1: What makes the additional command sources? It's a command line option to dist.sh See the test at line 425 of dist.sh With no arguments it simply tries to do_Makefile (and fails). Tristan would have picked the value "sources" in anticipation of adding more command line options. (And I'd swear there used to be other command line options, years ago.) > Question 2: I think my last ghdl installation had object files inside > the installing zip. > Can you say me what is the next step? Brian says I lost his wiki page on ghdl-updates, it's now restored. See https://sourceforge.net/p/ghdl-updates/wiki/build%20ghdl%20from%20source%20on%20Linux/ Instruction for building GHDL (version 0.31dev) with GCC4.9.2 on Linux. You should be at step 5) now. You may have to backtrack to see where 'source' is, it's the directory where gcc-4.8.2 has been extracted from the downloaded archive. > > René > > Open suse come with: > >> %% gnat --help Which will tell you whether gnat is present. > > red@linux-x6qx:~/ghdl/code/translate/gcc> gnat --help > GNAT 4.8.1 20130909 [gcc-4_8-branch revision 202388] > Copyright 1996-2013, Free Software Foundation, Inc. > > List of available commands > > gnat bind gnatbind ... > gnat xref gnatxref > > All commands except chop, krunch and preprocess accept project file > switches -vPx, -Pprj and -Xnam=val > > gnat: Unknown command: --help You got gnat, Ada is installed. _______________________________________________ Ghdl-discuss mailing list [email protected] https://mail.gna.org/listinfo/ghdl-discuss
