OK, I'll patch that back in; it would be useful if you can check and correct what I've done. I misunderstood your Jan 10 message to mean that the existing Wiki was out of date in that respect now that the libs are supplied; not that they are supplied (but not correctly installed) on Windows. > At this point, would it be OK to push an update to the > translate/mcode/windows/complib.bat file to the release branch to fix > up the libraries for a hypothetical 0.31.1 ? No, please push it to the trunk (default). If it is possible to supply binary installs for Windows, with the math libraries pre-installed, that would be a cleaner way to fix this issue for 0.31. > I must admit that I am somewhat confused, in that there never seemed to > be a stable RC1/RC2/Release progression, to allow time for testing on > all OSes prior to the final release tag being applied ? My fault entirely. There is some urgency to get a new ghdl release into Debian (allowing them to retire gnat-4.4 or 4.5 without deleting ghdl) and I allowed that to warp the release process. This is a learning process for me! I'm going to pick over the wreckage and make a checklist for future releases. - Brian _______________________________________________ Ghdl-discuss mailing list [email protected] https://mail.gna.org/listinfo/ghdl-discuss
