Hello,
it's a bit late in the duscussion but I just realised :
does the -gNAME=VALUE flag inhibit the -g flag sent to GCC ?
I still use an old version and I haven't used -g for a while
but it was very useful when I wrote my extensions...
Of course no.
-g is a compilation option.
-gVAL=NAME is an execution option.
