Well, it's difficult to single out a specific feature. I suggest that you read the recent changes summarized in: http://developer.gimp.org/NEWS And maybe more importantly, that you look at the work done by Kamila and Peter for improving the user interface: http://gui.gimp.org/ Some of these improvements have already integrated in the current version in SVN but others are still pending.
