And all other refactors should be discussed separately/one-by-one I do very much like the idea of incrementally doing this project in phases as @2010YOUY01 suggests -- first do a split of analyzer/optimizer but keep the existing order of passes. This will leave us with some unsatisfactory things like JoinOrder that is an "analyzer rule" when it should be mostly a optimizer rule. However, once we have a split of analyzer/optimizer then we, as @jayzhan211 suggests, create tickets for splitting stuff out analyzer rules that should be optimizers -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
