Thanks Marius, the actual message I get from:
$ git push origin master is: Access denied or bad repository path fatal: The remote end hung up unexpectedly I just abbreviated the error for the subject line and added the 'git' part to show this was from doing a git commmand. Sorry for the confusion! If I do: $ ssh git@<your-ip> I get: PTY allocation request failed on channel 0 Need SSH_ORIGINAL_COMMAND Connection to <server-ip> closed.
