Mostly just posting this as a record... but I have now ordered my first pairs of online glasses.
I ordered from Optical4Less. Their website was easy to navigate, they have a 10% discount for glassyeyes that I am not sure is mentioned on here, and they waive shipping for 2 pairs of glasses. I might have ordered from Specs On The Net if I had been able to get their try-on Java application to work for me, my Java kept crashing. I got 1 pair of rounded rectangular rimless with custom clipon shades and one pair of basic black overstock frames as a backup. total, about $124. I'm pretty impressed that the backup pair was 15.00. if they are good glasses, I'll be very pleased. heck, both are cheap. but the second one is CHEAPPPPPP so who would be best for funky silly frames. I want either a pair of silly red or purple frames, or a pair of black with shiny rhinestones or silver sparkles.
