Hi,
Earlier in the month, May 4, I placed an order with
Coastalcontacts.com after reading the positive reviews from this
group. I received an e-mail yesterday, May 18, that my glasses were
being shipped. Because it had been a few weeks since I placed the
order, I looked for the original order from Coastalcontacts.com and
saw the details from it. I don't know how this escaped me but the
prescription they had on my order is not at all what I entered
originally.

Here's my prescription from my optician:
Right (OD)
Sph x Cyl x Axis x PD
-7.00 x -2.25 x 15 x 34

Left (OS)
Sph x Cyl x Axis x PD
-7.50 x -2.25 x 174 x 33

Here's the prescription from my order with Coastalcontacts.com:
Right Eye:
Sphere: -17.50
Cylinder: +0.75
Axis: 18

Left Eye:
Sphere: -16.50
Cylinder: +0.75
Axis: 11

PD: 67.0

It looks like the only thing correct is my PD value. Is it possible
though that both prescriptions are the same, it's just that
Coastalcontacts.com made some kind of translation? Worst case, I'll
just have to return my glasses when I receive them and fax
Coastalcontacts.com my real prescription. Again, I don't know how I
could have missed the original order, which is really my fault. Since
there seem to be a lot of knowledgeable people in this group, I just
thought I may as well ask. I am also planning on asking
Coastalcontacts.com to see what their answer is.

Thanks in advance,
Rory
