Mmmm... but why bother tecnician with calls or email, when users can
add some followup to an intervention?

You can argue that is better that user have some limited access to
intervention, and you can limit, eg, comment on intervention that you
have opened, but i think that this is a real ``transparent'' way of
doing.

Again, every TTS/BTS (there's no a big difference from the intervention
handling of glpi and a bug tracking system like bugzilla, really) are
mostly ``open'': everyone (sometime also not logged in) can add a bug
or post some followups, and the risk of abuse are really low.
Think about of the BTS of glpi/savannah/sourceforge...

For me:

1) super-admin have the right to alter glpi configuration (and all of
 the below ;)
2) admin (but i prefere technician ;) can add items, can add request
(as himself or as another user), can handle requests (close, followup,
..)
3) normal user can view most of the data (items, requests, followup)
add request as himself only and add followup to requests (all).
4) post only can... post only, but i tink also that could be able to
look at requests (not followups, so the main page only).

My two euro cents. ;)
