Hi Dombre:
Thanks for your help so far.

machines, a representative of the types of machines we have. We're
having a problem importing some of our laptops. GLPI seems to think
that a laptop in its docking station and a laptop outside its docking
station are two different machines.
If OCS consider them as the same machine, GLPI may import it as the same
one. Duplicates management may work and you only need to make a sync.
That's the problem. OCS is considering them the same machine,
GLPI isn't. I'll see the machine listed only once in OCS, but in GLPI
it will be listed under the new machines to import, not in the sync tab,
even if its been imported once. If I import it again, I'll then have
two machines listed in GLPI, both identical, accept that one has a type
of portable and the other has a type of docking station. Set aside that
a docking station is a device, not a type of machine, GLPI should be
detecting these as the same machine. Any ideas how to prevent this?
Ryan
