I am again in awe at what I'm learning!  I followed your instructions and
now have the Google shortcut for Chrome, which, of course, is what I
thought I had.  Never noticed the IE tab.  Deleted the IE shortcut from the
taskbar.  However, the Google icon I have *on my desktop* doesn't have the
MSN tab, nor does it have the 3 Chrome bars.  (See screen shot.)  So whose
Google shortcut is this?  I won't delete it until I hear back from you.
All the Google icons for these apparently different "Googles" are identical
in appearance.

don't know how I did that.  It was a couple of years ago.  I would guess
you're going to say I was in IE and browsed to www.google.com, but I don't
think so.
