T4 is a HP ethernet thing that uses 4 pairs instead of 2... It can run over cat3 or cat4 (this from someone I work with here). The Tx is the same as just T... It doesn't represent Transmit vs Receive. The HD is, of course, half duplex.. which is required in certain situations..
