So, I took care of both of your suggestions so now the plugin should support
ApplicationItems as well :) . As discussed, not all of them might be
"supported" but on my system most of them are indexing well. Feel free to
review as needed. I've also created a branch in lp as suggested on the wiki
in case it makes your job easier?
