Hi Andrew,

yes, as Brian says this is the intention behind the share action. The
Public folder does not give a directory listing on your Dropbox web
interface, so although the files are viewable by anybody they would
need to guess the filename to see them. This is just how Dropbox have
designed the service, so really it's "share with everyone!".

They do have another process whereby you can specify a folder to share
with other Dropbox users, though they have to be signed up to access
them. Such files are not publicly visible. I would like to add this
feature to the Do plugin as well, but I need to research it some more.
