Hmm.  The syntax is indeed supposed to be

    \[/3 Lei-4 se8 \]

which i like much more, because you can see its a plet.
After introducing the multibar rest, notated 

    r1*4  a16*1/1

it seemed to be a bug to have to reset the plet factor.
So i made the plet-factor only be sticky inside plet brackets.
