hey there! sorry i keep disappearing for months at a time, but things
get busy, both on the work (http://linux.davecentral.com) and
volunteer (http://linux.umbc.edu/gits/) fronts.

i've been handed the job of setting a score by our resident composer
(http://www.umbc.edu/music/smith.htm). i'm going to have a million
question about doing it, but first i wanted to upgrade to the latest
lilypond and read the latest docs before i ask too many faqs. i've
run into a problem right from the start -- i've been using 1.1.26, and
upgraded to the latest one available in rpm format, 1.1.37. you can
see the results at:

http://www4.smart.net/~jcovey/tmp/smith/

all the staves run together when i use 1.1.37. any suggestions about
this before i go any further?

thanks,
