Attached is a patch, with a couple of quick fixes that make abc2ly
more useful to me:

        It now translates H into a fermata.  This is not in the 1.6
        standard, but is in the draft 2.0 standard, and is widely
        understood by ABC programs.

        It allows a space between a note and a > or <.  The standard
        is vague about whitespace in note specifications; I've always
        used a space for readability and haven't had problems with any 
        of the ABC programs I use.
