Hi!
I've replaced my lilypond 1.2.17 with 1.3.75, and I have a
really annoying problem. dvips chokes on the .dvi files created
by ly2dvi. This never happened with .dvi files generated under
1.2.17. Now I can't print any of the scores I've worked so long
on.
Here's what happens, using a specific example. I run ly2dvi on
a file called "montreal_1.ly." montreal_1.ly contains some
identifiers I use to shorten long \property calls, e.g.
dynup = \property Voice.dynamicDirection = \up
as well as four \include files representing four voices spread
over a PianoStaff (i.e. soprano, alto, tenor, bass) and a \score
block.
ly2dvi processes montreal_1.ly, issuing some warnings about a
"degenerate bow" and "too many clashing notecolumns," but
otherwise does its job just fine. I preview the resulting .dvi
file with xdvi, and everything looks as it should.
Then I try to print the file using dvips. This is what I get:

Lines like the last four continue appearing on the console ad
infinitum.
Could someone please tell me what's going on? The salient
details of my system are:
1. Debian distribution (whence I got my lilypond 1.3.75)
2. The Debian TeX packages tetex-base 1.0.2-2, tetex-bin
1.0.7-2, tetex-extra 1.0.2-2, tetex-lib 1.0.7-2.
I'm completely stumped on this.
