To reinforce what John said. I am also occasionally having issues with column
widths. Running 4.1.4 on MacOS 10.15.6. Sometimes the columns are not wide
enough to display all of the digits. Yesterday the cleared/reconciled column
was too narrow to see anything, just two vertical column separators. I can drag
the column separators at the top but when I release them, they the columns
widths do not change. A related issue is the default width for the description
column takes up 2/3 of the window, far more than I normally or have ever
needed. But the real issue is that they can't be adjusted and are sometimes not
wide enough to see the contents.

* I have closed the screen and reopened - to no avail
* I have closed gnu cash and restarted to see if column widths are reset
- to no avail.
Has anyone got a resolution for this as I have spent so much time in trying to
resolve.
Is there a column setting I can change? Or am I missing something?
