That’s a user-list question. There’s also not enough information there for 
anyone to know what happened. Please see 
https://wiki.gnucash.org/wiki/Tracefile for the first place to look for a cause 
of the crash. You might also find more details in the Windows Event logs.

Note that Windows 7 isn’t supported. If GnuCash works on it for you, great, but 
if it doesn’t we’re not going to do anything about it. We continue to support 
Windows 10 for now, but Microsoft doesn’t.
