Albertina Almeida of Bailancho Saad (a woman's NGO based in Goa) was on a professional visit to the USA recently. Goa Sudharop was pleased to organize an interactive meeting and presentation on April 29, 2005 with her and Goans in the Los Angeles area. Albertina covered various issues related to women & children in Goa. We would like to thank Albertina for taking the time out her very busy schedule to attend, and also thank Ralph Figueiredo for all the trouble he took to put the meeting together, and Bernie and Philip D'Souza for hosting the event.
