Rajan,

I invite you to stand before me publicly and challenge Goa Su-Raj or its
executives publicly if you have the nerve :-)) Take this as a permanent invite.
Let me say that I have not read your below post.

Now I shall give you something on Audhut Timblo. Check it out for its
veracity.

Audhut had an eye on the 20,000 sq. mtrs fronting his hotel project
belonging to Renate Pinto (1980s). He went to the extent of making his hotel
a Public Limited Company by issuing 5% of the holding in public shares. Got
the eager Government and its babus to help him out to acquire this chunk of
land for him for peanuts. (Rs. 20/m2 where the actual compensation demanded
was Rs. 1000/m2) By the way the compensation case is still ongoing in the
HC. Audhut was adamant not to pay the legit owner the cost of his land but
in the bargain has splurged crores of rupees trying hold the ill-gotten
gains through chicanery.

What Timblo has done is ethically wrong and he must sink for what he has
done. And he must pay for his sins. By suggesting the Clemency appeal (
which probably does not even exist as a legal alternative) what I was saying
was that his hotel must be put to work for the people from his earnings for
all these years.

The Ordinance is a farce and some legal brains somewhere must send it to the
sewers that it belongs to and not allow the country's judicial system and
judicial pride to be stained and tarnished.

These jokers must be taught a lesson once and for all.

Tell me one thing sincerely, Rajan. Can I count on your help in bringing out
a professional Independent weekly or a fortnightly which will be run by
authentic professionals from the media to bring out all these chicaneries
by the successive governments and the government of the day as well as by
all the rotten apples we have in the assembly? If yes, will you invite your
good friends who love Goa and want to save Goa to join hands? I promise you
that this publication will not seek to promote any individuals or any
political party. Goa lacks such an instrument and there is a possiblitity
that someone be found for the right job.

Let me know.

But don't you give me a lecture on the appropriateness of
Goa Su-Raj's stand on this issue. I know what I am talking
about. If your vision sees all pink, then I cannot help it.
Get yourself a normalcy check-up. There is no point
in growing unnecessay ulcers. And you must know that
ulcers turn malignant in time if not cured.

Reminds me of the boy and the cookie jar.

Floriano tells me not to lecture him. But Floriano is the
one who has been lecturing us all this while about the
grandiose Goa Suraj castle he claimed to have erected.
He said it represented a different kind of politics and
that it was a breath of fresh air when in reality it reeks
of the same old rancid stench as the rest of them.
He also tells us that Audhut Timblo has been funding
dinners for the party. Gee, the Timblo fox has been
guarding the Goa Suraj henhouse, eh?

We might die in this laugh riot first, Floriano, before the
ulcers claim us.

Regards,
