Just for me to understand you properly: are you saying you have no reservations against such a high rate of Migration into Goa? If the answer to the latter is yes then, perhaps you should first convince other communities in India and the World around to allow large scale migration into their regions and decimate thier respective identities/language/culture. Mario responds: Arwin, Apparently unbeknownst only to you, legal and illegal migrations have been taking place throughout history. For the existing residents to have reservations is hardly the issue. The issue is what, if anything, can be done about it. Not everyone agrees it is anything to be too concerned about. This is certainly the case in Goa over the centuries, as Fred's post illustrates.
