In his contribution, FN (by way of explanation) (Why Goan males
educated in Goa schools - not elesewhere - do not communicate as well
as Goan females) wrote the following : " Maybe it is a problem when
some try to affect 'foreign' accents, instead of just going 'natural'
and speaking as they do, in intelligible English."
RESPONSE to FN:
Au contraire, mon ami
It is not a question of 'foreign' accents, it is the inappropriate
pronounciation of words e.g.
(Where does the "e" go) in the word "dev_E_lopment" when it is
pronounced as "Dev_lopment"?
and then we have the perennials i.e. Sheet Man; Let's go to the Colva
bitch (Possible though that the latter statement could be accurate);
