Jim F, The USA is the only western country that does not provide universal health coverage for its residents. You will probably know why this is a good idea. Obama (blessed be, his name) tried to correct this anomaly and the Republicans have tried 40+ times to cripple his healthcare plan. This is an issue for US taxpayers. Since I am not one, I have no interest in how the US govt spends your taxes. What I do know is that they seem to have an endless amount of money to pay for foreign military adventures. As for the Ontario health care system, it even provides card holders medical health care in the US and Goa. The way the system works is that the sick get free treatment.
