Sorry, I don't understand the question.  Is this some sort of “Have
you stopped beating your wife?” challenge?

And regarding the immature/prank aspect, didn't Reddit do user name
replacement before, as an April Fool's joke?  Which explains why the
code to do this was there in the first place?
