Eventually, yes, but we felt that supporting basic inheritance was the more critical need so that's what got all the attention for 1.2.8. Polymorphic relations typically require either joins, discriminator columns, or both. We'd like to avoid all of that, and I think we can, but we have to wait until we make some changes to how we store relationship data in the physical model. That's the next major change we have planned. Polymorphic relationships will come after.
