There are significant moral hazard issues with Google's current latency = instance step-cost pricing scheme. I don't see anything Greg talking about which address these.
I'm not sure they "sucker punched" anyone, but I do wonder how they can so completely ignore these areas that demand transparency. Do they think the Google brand is that trust worthy??
