According to http://code.google.com/appengine/kb/general.html#quota, the free quota should allow for "roughly 5 million pageviews a month for an efficient application." Is that still true after the September 2011 pricing changes?
If it is true, how can 5 million pageviews be achieved with only 1 GB outgoing bandwidth? That's only 200 bytes per view. (and free apps don't get to take advantage of Google's edge cache [1]).
