Ok, I've never done this before but believe I got the test actually to 
process.

On my Win7 64 bit box, I had to add a -k on the first curl command to get 
the info and sent it to a authtoken.txt file.
>From there I put it in the batch file and substituted the XXX for the test 
user username.
The XML file was created in the same directory as my curl.exe file and I ran 
it.  No errors, but I don't see on the Google side that it did anything 
(yet, unless it's cued up to process at a later time).
 
Should I have seen something if it errored out?
