Hi, I'm wondering how could I get my google code project visible to the google search engine in google.com? I can find my project just fine when searching with http://code.google.com/hosting/ but this is not what people use -> they do not find my project.
I assume, if some web page links to my google project page, then it becomes visible to google.com search, given that the page itself is visible to google.com. So I wanted to use the "google sites" app, and add a page there which links to my google code page, but I can not add that page to google search index DB, because I can not verify I own the page in google web master tools? Or is there a way to do this? For the same reason I can not add the google code project page directly to the google search index DB. My project uses google analytics, but I guess that won't help here.
