There are a lot of different meanings, I agree. In my case I'm expecting to
see some kind of source file, not .exe, not .dll, not .dat, and not a .rar
or .zip of source files. I'm expecting to see actual source files. .java,
.py, .c, .cs, .js, something like that. To be opensource the source has to
be accessible to view.

Like I said, it looks like you are developing software in your project. It
just doesn't look like it can be considered opensource at this current
time. I'm not going to shut down your project, but it would be a good idea
to distribute some source code in your project.

It may be that your particular project doesn't *have* source code, if all
your development is creating new skins and models. I don't know much about
BFME2 mods. If that's the case I'll talk to the rest of the team and see
what we should do in this case. In any case I think you'll find using a
real file hosting/sharing service to share files across your team will be a
better idea than relying on Subversion, which was not built for this
purpose.
