I've been vastly disappointed with the efforts we've put developing Gadgets because the Adjust Height function stopped working a month (August 2011) ago and Google doesn't seem to care.
You can view the bug here: http://youfoot.weebly.com/ Try it with Firefox and IE it doesn't work. In Chrome/safari it works. If you run the code inside Gadget editor you get an error that the function Adjust Height is not used. The code is from a sample test code written by Takashi who seems to be a Google employee. When your users are angry at you, you have to take the blame for Google not fixing their API, you get kind of cranky. So here is my rant: If you don't care make it open source so that other can fix it! While Facebook is working to get developers to build apps in their Ecosystem, Google is blowing off their developers. I was told to post this in at least 3 or 4 forums (open social, shindig, iGoogle dev...) but this is where is belongs. Although I think that it's really narrow minded to call the forum for Gadgets that can embed on many websites, on desktop, and igoogle the "iGoogle Dev Forum". And it doesn't seems Google+ plans to integrate OpenSocial or Gagdets. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "iGoogle Developer Forum" group.
